Our cafe at No 5 High St, Barry offers excellent value in home made meals and snacks, delicious soups, cakes and traditional and american breakfasts. The purpose of the cafe is to give trainees experience of catering with the hope that they may go on to paid employment.

 

The practical training is backed up by our Workright and Employability programmes, plus a qualification in food hygiene. The cafe is partly supplied with vegetables and salad from the ValePlus garden.

Where possible all our ingredients are sourced locally to minimise our carbon footprint and to keep our food miles as low as possible.
